Ubuntu Linux makes it prime time TV debut on the popular TV show The Big Bang Theory. Sure its a show about geeks but hey, its a start.
How to Skip Past Previews on DVDs
We all hate having to sit through those annyoying 15 minutes of previews on DVD movies, its even worse when you have to make a little kid wait. Here is a way to skip past all of those previews and go directly to the movie even when you the DVD maker has blocked the fast forward or skip button. Get you pop corn becuase it’s movie time.
Step 1:
Put the DVD in your DVD player and press play
Step 2:
Once the previews start hit Stop twice on your remote and then hit play.
You should now be at the start of the movie. This trick should work on most DVD players but your mileage may vary. Enjoy
Very Cool Sonic Boom Meets Sun Dog
This video was taken from the Solar Dynamics Observatory launch on February 11, 2010. This awesome sonic boom happens around the 1:30 mark of the video.
A sun dog is a prismatic bright spot in the sky caused by sun shining through ice crystals. The Atlas V rocket exceeded the speed of sound in this layer of ice crystals, making the shock wave visible from the ground. The announcer can be heard in the video saying, “The vehicle is now supersonic.”

As we all know, Tiger Woods just got caught cheating on his wife and like all good celebrity gossip there are good jokes to follow:
- Tiger Woods is so rich that he owns lots of expensive cars, now he has a hole in one.

- Tiger Woods wasn’t seriously injured in the crash, but he’s still below par.

- Tiger Woods crashed into a fire hydrant and a tree. He couldn’t decide between a wood and an iron.
- Why was Elin using a 7 iron. She was working on a bad lie.
- I heard Tiger is trying to blame his crash on Cadillac, as he was driving an Escalade. Typical golfer, he drives into a tree and blames the Caddy.
- If you make it out of your own driveway safely this morning… you can say that you out drove Tiger Woods.
- Elin Nordegren got hired today as a consultant. She’s teaching Phil Mickelson how to beat Tiger.
- What does an arctic seal pup and Tiger Woods have in common..? They have both been beaten with a club by a Norwegian
- Apparently the police asked Tiger’s wife how many times she hit him. She said ” I don’t know exactly but put me down for a 5.”
